Testing of potatoes in the Batumi regional laboratory is carried out using internationally recognized research methods
In the Batumi Regional Laboratory of the State Agricultural Laboratory, testing and diagnosis of potatoes for bacterial and fungal diseases are carried out using internationally recognized research methods.
The following are conducted in the Batumi laboratory:
• Feeding of plant samples by entomological and acarological methods;
• Mycological examination;
• Herbological examination;
• Bacteriological examination;
• Virological test.
According to the data for 2020, the number of samples received in the laboratory and the number of studies conducted, compared to the data for 2019, increased by 10%.
