The Director of the Agricultural State Laboratory Met with the Heads of Regional Laboratories
The Director of the Agricultural State Laboratory, Levan Jgharkava, held a working meeting with the Heads of the regional laboratories.
During the meeting, the Director introduced the staff to the Laboratory’s new Deputy Director, Irakli Gelashvili, who will coordinate the activities of the regional laboratories.
The meeting focused on the activities of the regional laboratories, their existing needs, and future plans. Particular attention was paid to further improving the efficiency of work processes at the regional laboratories.
The involvement of the new Deputy Director will contribute to better coordination of the regional laboratories’ activities and the timely identification of their needs.
The Agricultural State Laboratory operates a network of 13 laboratories across Georgia and conducts laboratory testing in the fields of food, animal diseases, and plant pests.
