Representatives of the Agricultural State Laboratory introduced wine producers in Gurjaani to the laboratory’s testing capabilities
Representatives of the Agricultural State Laboratory introduced representatives of small and medium-sized wine companies in Gurjaani Municipality to the laboratory’s existing services and capabilities in the field of wine quality testing.
During the meeting, participants received information on the key parameters assessed through wine quality testing. Particular attention was paid to the importance of laboratory testing in evaluating wine quality and ensuring product quality.
The Agricultural State Laboratory conducts wine quality testing using accredited methods and provides relevant laboratory services to representatives of the wine sector.
Representatives of the Irma Chanturia Wine Laboratory and the National Wine Agency also participated in the meeting. It was noted that the opening of a Gurjaani branch of the Irma Chanturia Wine Laboratory is planned for this year, which will further increase the accessibility of laboratory services for wine producers in the Kakheti region.
The Agricultural State Laboratory continues to develop its services in the field of wine quality testing and expand their accessibility across the regions.
