Training Held for Research Professionals at the State Laboratory of Agriculture
Organized by the Georgian Association of Laboratories (GeLab), a training session on “Method Validation, Verification and Estimation of Measurement Uncertainty” was held at the State Laboratory of Agriculture, aiming to improve the reliability and quality of laboratory testing.
The training brought together representatives from various research fields, including representatives of the National Food Agency and specialists from the Animal Disease Diagnostics and Food Research Departments of the State Laboratory of Agriculture. The training was led by Dr. Imeda Rubashvili, Doctor of Chemistry.
The session covered the key stages of method validation and verification, international requirements, the principles of measurement uncertainty estimation, as well as practical approaches aimed at ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory testing.
It was emphasized that modern laboratory activities are not limited to conducting analyses alone. Particular importance is also placed on the reliability of the methods used and their compliance with international standards. Validation and verification processes provide the foundation for ensuring the quality, reproducibility, and accuracy of laboratory results.
The training provided participants with an important opportunity to share experience and deepen their professional knowledge. Activities of this kind contribute to the further development of quality management systems in the research field and strengthen compliance with international standards.
Participants noted that the implementation of modern approaches plays an important role in increasing the efficiency of laboratory activities and ensuring high-quality results.
