Czech Experts Visit the State Laboratory of Agriculture

Experts from the State Veterinary Institute of Prague visited the State Laboratory of Agriculture of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, with the visit organized by the Czech Development Agency (CzDA).

During a working meeting held as part of the visit, the parties discussed issues related to the laboratory’s quality management system, the accreditation process, and the functioning of the National Reference Laboratory. They also discussed the implementation of international standards, further development of the quality management system, and the continued advancement of laboratory activities.

The Czech experts shared international experience in the operation of National Reference Laboratories with specialists from the State Laboratory of Agriculture and provided recommendations on the requirements and criteria that are important for further strengthening the laboratory’s capabilities and ensuring compliance with international standards.

The State Laboratory of Agriculture operates as a National Reference Laboratory. This status entails the development of its quality management system in accordance with international standards, the implementation of modern laboratory practices, and the continuous professional development of its staff.

Such international cooperation contributes to the exchange of expertise, the adoption of best practices, and the further strengthening of the institutional capacities of the State Laboratory of Agriculture.
