A Memorandum of Cooperation Was Signed Between the State Laboratory of Agriculture and the “Anaseuli” Diagnostic Center for Soil, Food and Integrated Plant Protection, Named After Adam Beridze
A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in the village of Anaseuli, Ozurgeti Municipality, between the State Laboratory of Agriculture and the “Anaseuli” Diagnostic Center for Soil, Food and Integrated Plant Protection, named after Adam Beridze and managed by the Agricultural Scientific-Research Center. The memorandum aims to strengthen scientific research activities in the agricultural sector and develop modern laboratory capabilities.
Under the memorandum, the parties will cooperate in organizing joint conferences, seminars, and practical scientific research activities. The agreement also provides for the exchange of information in various fields, joint participation in international projects, and the implementation of joint research in different areas.
“Modern laboratory research plays an important role in the development of farms and in ensuring the production of high-quality and safe products, which ultimately contributes to the country’s economic development. Therefore, strengthening cooperation with the regions is particularly important. I am confident that the memorandum signed with the Agricultural Scientific-Research Center will further strengthen joint scientific research activities and contribute to the development of the region and the agricultural sector,” said Irakli Guledani, Director of the State Laboratory of Agriculture.
Representatives of the local government also attended the meeting and emphasized the importance of scientific research in the agricultural sector. According to them, modern laboratory research, the exchange of scientific knowledge, and active cooperation with farmers play an important role in the development of local agricultural enterprises and the improvement of product quality.
During the meeting, specialists from the State Laboratory of Agriculture presented the laboratory’s capabilities in the diagnosis of plant pests and pathogens to the participants.
Joint activities of the State Laboratory of Agriculture and the Agricultural Scientific-Research Center will contribute to strengthening the research sector.
