The State Laboratory of Agriculture Participated in the “Fish and Seafood Festival 2026”
The “Fish and Seafood Festival 2026” was held in Batumi, bringing together fishers, restaurant representatives, and representatives of fish farming enterprises. Festival visitors had the opportunity to taste dishes prepared from fish and seafood, take part in masterclasses, and participate in various educational and entertainment activities.
The State Laboratory of Agriculture participated in the event and was represented with an information stand. Visitors to the stand had the opportunity to learn more about the laboratory’s activities and explore informational materials on research areas that contribute to the development of the aquaculture sector.
Representatives of the laboratory provided visitors with information on the importance of research in preventing fish diseases and highlighted the services provided by the laboratory to support the development of aquaculture.
The festival was organized by the Aquaculture Development Association “Foreji.” The event aimed to promote fisheries and aquaculture, support local production, foster a culture of fish and seafood consumption, and introduce the wider public to the latest achievements and innovations in the sector.
