Specialists of the State Laboratory of Agriculture Successfully Passed International Inter-Laboratory Proficiency Testing
Specialists from the Entomology and Molecular Biology Laboratories of the State Laboratory of Agriculture have successfully completed international inter-laboratory proficiency testing focused on the identification of plant parasitic cyst nematodes (Heterodera, Globodera, and Punctodera genera).
The testing panel was prepared and provided by the Czech Central Institute for Agricultural Supervision and Testing (UKZUZ) and evaluated by the laboratory’s specialists using both morphological-morphometric analysis and PCR-based methods.
The State Laboratory of Agriculture received a 100% rating, confirming the high level of expertise and diagnostic accuracy of its Plant Pest Diagnostics Department.
It is worth noting that the laboratory's specialists consistently participate in international training and professional proficiency testing, ensuring compliance with global standards and the ongoing development of diagnostic capabilities.
