Plans Underway to Strengthen Food Diagnostics Research at the Sachkhere Regional Laboratory of the State Laboratory of Agriculture
Efforts are being initiated to enhance research in the field of food diagnostics at the Sachkhere Regional Laboratory, part of the State Laboratory of Agriculture network.
A working meeting was held at the Sachkhere Regional Laboratory, attended by Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Solomon Pavliashvili; Mayor of Sachkhere, Levan Ivanashvili; and Director of the State Laboratory of Agriculture, Irakli Guledani.
During the meeting, participants discussed current issues facing the laboratory, along with its technical capabilities. Attendees also had the opportunity to inspect the laboratory’s internationally certified equipment.
“It is essential to strengthen laboratory services at the regional level. The presence of a robust laboratory infrastructure plays a vital role in ensuring the production of safe and healthy products. The State Laboratory of Agriculture network, with the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, continues to actively develop regional laboratories and provide international-level diagnostic services to the local population,” stated Solomon Pavliashvili.
Also in attendance were Gaga Darbaidze, Chairman of the Sachkhere Municipality Council; Mukhran Shamatava, Deputy Head of the National Food Agency; and representatives from the State Laboratory of Agriculture.
