International Research Methods Used at the Kutaisi Laboratory of the State Laboratory of Agriculture
The Kutaisi Laboratory of the State Laboratory of Agriculture conducts diagnostics using internationally recognized methods.
A working meeting was held at the laboratory, attended by Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Solomon Pavliashvili and Director of the State Laboratory of Agriculture Irakli Guledani.
Participants discussed the laboratory’s current capabilities, future plans in the field of aquaculture, and the use of modern diagnostic methods.
“The Kutaisi Laboratory plays a key role in Western Georgia. With the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, important steps have been taken to introduce all necessary diagnostic services for fish farmers. Our current goal is to develop fish disease research at the regional level to ensure timely and reliable diagnostics,” said Solomon Pavliashvili.
Also attending the meeting were Mukhran Shamatava, Deputy Head of the National Food Agency, and representatives of the Kutaisi Laboratory.
