Representatives from the State Laboratory of Agriculture attended a working visit to Turkey
Within the framework of the visit, meetings were held in the Turkish cities of Istanbul and Izmir. The main topic of work was to strengthen the epidemiological and laboratory capabilities of vector-borne diseases relevant for the country.
The team members visited the Panding and Boronov state agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey, learned about their work processes and discussed concerns with the diagnosis and prevention of particularly severe diseases.
At the meetings, the question of future structural collaboration was also discussed.
The sessions in Turkey were attended by representatives from the Republic of Turkey's Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, its subordinate entities, the State Laboratory of Agriculture, and the National Food Agency.
