Specialists of the Animal Disease Diagnostics Department underwent training on Crimean–Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) diagnostics
Specialists from the State Laboratory of Agriculture were introduced to current approaches and recent advancements in the epidemiological and laboratory diagnostics of Crimean–Congo hemorrhagic fever.
The training for laboratory specialists was delivered by an expert invited by the Georgia office of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The primary focus of the training centered on the use of serological methods for diagnosing CCHF in animal serum during routine monitoring activities.
The State Laboratory of Agriculture maintains active cooperation with international organizations; within the framework of this collaboration, numerous successful projects have been implemented.
