Training course in England
Liza Durglishvili, a specialist of the Department of Animal Diseases Diagnostics of the State Laboratory of Agriculture, attended the training course on the diagnosis of foot and mouth disease virus at the Pirbright Institute in England.
The training course was about the of foot and mouth disease virus; Participants studied the epidemiology of the virus; Virological, serological and molecular biological diagnostic methods, etc.
Within the framework of the visit, the specialist of the State Laboratory of Agriculture had the opportunity to deepen her knowledge about the diagnosis of the of foot and mouth disease virus and to participate in practical classes.
Representatives of the laboratories of Georgia, Portugal, Germany and Argentina participated in the training course on the of foot and mouth disease virus held at the Pirbright Institute.
The event was organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the European Commission for the Control of Turkey Disease (EuFMD).
The State Laboratory of Agriculture actively cooperates with international organizations.
