A specialist of the Animal Diseases Diagnostics Department of the State Laboratory of Agriculture took part in the training held at the Pasteur Institute
Tamar Baisonashvili, a specialist of the Animal Diseases Diagnostics Department of the State Laboratory of Agriculture, participated in the training held at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, France, within the framework of the MediLabSecure project.
T. Baisonashvili passed the selection stage of training, where she was among 12 participants out of 200 applicants.
During the training, the participants studied sequencing - metagenomics based on Oxford nanopore technologies (MinION) and the basics of bioinformatics.
The studied method will help the laboratory to introduce and implement innovative research methods.
The State Laboratory of Agriculture actively cooperates with international organizations. Within the framework of cooperation, over the years, a number of successful projects have been implemented.
