The International Atomic Energy Agency's Regional Coordinator's visit to the State Laboratory of Agriculture
The State Agricultural Laboratory is working on a project called "Strengthening of National Monitoring Programs by Strengthening the Testing of Residual Substances and Other Pollutants in Food" and Carmina Velasquez, regional coordinator of the International Atomic Energy Agency, was introduced with the work that is being done.
The objective of this project is to improve the laboratory's capabilities, particularly its access to skilled workers and cutting-edge equipment.
The State Laboratory of Agriculture actively participates in the process of adopting new standards, assuring both the process of legislative convergence and the fulfillment of commitments made within the scope of the agreement signed with the European Union.
