Phytopathology laboratory successfully passed the international qualification test

Specialists of the Phytopathology Laboratory of the State Laboratory of Agriculture has successfully passed the international qualification test.

The qualification test was organized by the Czech Central Institute for Supervision and Testing of Agriculture (UKZUZ), which, carries out expert and test work at the international level, in accordance with special laws, as well as control and monitoring measures in the field of pest protection and plant protection.

The qualification test was related to the identification of Verticillium species associated with hop wilt disease (Interlaboratory comparison test for the identification of Verticillium species associated with hop wilt disease, 2020).

The purpose of qualification testing is to prove that the laboratory can accurately identify Verticillium species.

The mentioned request was fulfilled by the State Laboratory of Agriculture by 100%.

It is important to note that the staff of the State Agricultural Laboratory successfully pass professional qualification tests every year. The research methods available in the laboratory are internationally accredited.
