The Department of Animal Diseases Diagnostics is actively researching various diseases
The Department of Animal Diseases Diagnostics of the State Laboratory of Agriculture is actively researching various diseases as well as testing samples for bacteria, viruses and parasites.
With internationally accredited methods, the following studies are conducted in the Animal Diseases Diagnostics Department:
- Brucellosis research;
- Anthrax research;
- Diagnosis of rabies;
- Salmonellosis research;
- Research on pasteurellosis, etc.
Every year, the staff of the State Laboratory of Agriculture successfully passes tests of professional competence.
As of September 2020, 10,540 tests were conducted on samples received at the Department of Animal Disease Diagnostics, of which only 5% were positive.
