"Laboratory Health and Safety The Continuing Education Courses for Young Professionals in West and East Georgia" project was discussed
The opening ceremony of the European Union-supported project "Laboratory Health and Safety Continuing Education Courses for Young Professionals in West and East Georgia" was held online. About 50 representatives of various organizations attended the event. The director of the State Laboratory of Agriculture, Irakli Guledan, and the deputy director of the laboratory, Anna Gulban, addressed the participants of the project.
The project team presented the project partners, objectives and work plan. The participants discussed the possibilities of future cooperation. Within the framework of the project, 250 specialists will be trained in the field of laboratory safety.
The mission of the project is to promote the strengthening of competencies and the employment of young professionals in the field of laboratory services in the Tbilisi and Georgia regions.
Supporters of the project are: the Delegation of the European Union to Georgia; beneficiary regional universities; the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia; the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Protection of IDPs from the Occupied Territories of Georgia; non-governmental organizations; and others. Representatives of the State Laboratory of Agriculture attended the online meeting.
