Food products are being actively inspected for various indicators in the microbiological lab of the State Laboratory of Agriculture

The following studies are carried out in the microbiology laboratory:
Research on milk and milk products;
Research on meat and meat products;
Product testing for Salmonella and Shigella;
A study of staphylococcal enterotoxin in the product.

Research methods in the laboratory are internationally accredited. Every year, the laboratory staff members complete tests of their professional competency.

As of September 2020, 850 tests were conducted on the samples received in the microbiology laboratory, of which only 10% were positive.
