In the Chemistry Laboratory of the State Laboratory of Agriculture, food is tested for various indicators

In September 2020, research was conducted on an exceptionally large number of samples — 130 in the Department of Food Research.

In the laboratory of general chemistry, confectionery products were tested for the following indicators:
the presence of fats and trans fats in the product;
checking the organoleptic indicators of the product;
product turbidity check;
Checking the product for the presence of various elements.

Compared to the data of September 2019, according to the data of 2020, the number of positive indicators of the presence of various elements in confectionery products is 75% lower.

The methods implemented in the laboratory allow research to be carried out to a high standard and the results obtained are internationally recognized.
