The State Laboratory of Agriculture has successfully passed the annual accreditation

#

The transition to the new ISO/IEC 17025:2017–2018 standard was positively assessed by the single national accreditation body, the Accreditation Center.

The fact that the laboratory and the tests are accredited means that the results given by the laboratory are reliable and objective.

As of 2020, the existing methods were re-accredited in the laboratory and new methods were added.

➢ New research methods were added to the departments of the Tbilisi Laboratory:
• In the department of animal disease diagnostics, 42 methods;
• In the Department of Food Research: 11 methods;
• In the department of plant pest diagnostics: 4 methods.

➢ Kutaisi zonal diagnostics laboratory added 2 methods in the field of food research to the scope of accreditation:
➢ Zugdidi Laboratory added 1 method in the direction of veterinary medicine:
➢ Ozurgeti, Gori, Dusheti and Gurjaani laboratories each added 2 new research methods (water bacteriological research).

The network of the LEPL State Laboratory of Agriculture has confirmed the compliance of its activities with the requirements of the standard (ISO/IEC 17025:2017–2018).
